Dublin Community Mediation (DCM) recently attended the Mediators Institute of Ireland (MII) Annual Conference. The MII Annual Conference is a significant gathering for mediation professionals Ireland, and this year's conference lived up to expectations, drawing a diverse and engaged crowd eager to explore the latest developments in mediation.

A highlight of the conference for DCM was the recognition of founding member, Geoffrey Correy, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Geoffrey's dedication to mediation over the years has had a profound impact on the community, making this honor well-deserved.

Another proud moment for DCM was Catherine O'Connell's receipt of the Generosity of Spirit Award for her work alongside Barbara Walshe on 'A Restorative Approach to the Abuse of Children.'

The conference featured insightful discussions and panels covering a wide range of mediation-related topics. Networking opportunities were also plentiful, allowing DCM and fellow attendees to connect, and share ideas.
