About Us

Dublin Community Mediation (DCM) is a charity that has been providing mediation services to the people of South Dublin and beyond for over 25 years.

The service is based in Whitechurch Library Building on Taylor’s Lane in Rathfarnham. We are delighted to be based in this historical building along with The Web Project. There are 49 certified mediators working on behalf of Dublin Community Mediation this year, all of whom give their services for free/pro bono to the community.

Our History

DCM was established in 1995. Its official name is The Mediation Bureau CLG., but its working name is Dublin Community Mediation (DCM). To mark DCM's 25th anniversary, Padraic O Neill, Geoffrey Corry, John Mulligan and Mary O Flaherty wrote a booklet telling the history of DCM since its foundation. It was published as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations.
