Volunteer

Our mediators come from a wide range of backgrounds and are all certified or practitioner mediators, registered with The Mediators’ Institute of Ireland, The Irish Professional Mediators' Organisation or The International Mediation Institute.

 

We operate a co-mediation model for our cases and our members have the opportunity to work with other volunteers on a variety of mediations. The MII and the IPMO both consider these mediations to be in line with their requirements for Members (MII) and Newly Qualified members (IPMO), subject to certain conditions.
 

We also offer a monthly Sharing and Learning Group which gives members the opportunity to come together to share their experience and learn with colleagues. Attendance at sharing & learning, reflective practice, courses or other educational sessions can be counted towards annual CPD requirements for both the MII and IPMO
